In the beginning of this series of buses LAZ-695 was produced
1957-1958. Then LAZ-965B "Lvov" (w/ rear roof tube)
succeeded it 1958-1964. It had 3 doors, including 2 for passenger
use. The engine was mounted in the rear part of the bus. A
tourist modification LAZ-697 (1959-1963) and LAZ-967E "Turist"
was made with individual reclining seats and only one passenger
door. 1961-1970 some buses were equipped with a 150 h.p.  ZIL-130
engine, receiving a different name LAZ-965E "Lvov".
1965-1970 LAZ-695Zh "Lvov" with a hydrotrasformer was
made. In 1970, the design of these buses changed and this
different design survived on production lines until late 1980's.
The LAZ-699 buses received a the same engine as
ZIL-130
