This truck can be considered as one of the "founding fathers" of the huge Ural plant. This became UralAZ's predominant type of vehicle manufactured. Ural-375D is a 6 X 6 flatbed truck, Ural-375S is a 6 X 6 tractor truck and Ural-377 is a 6 X 4 flatbed truck.
** These Ural rocket launchers, properly indexed as 122mm BM-21, are from the long line of famous "Katiusha" rocket motors. The rocket launcher consists of 40 rounds, each rocket has a mass of 45.9 kg [101 lb] and a length of 2740 mm [9 feet], caliber is 122 mm [4.8"]. The launcher elevation is from 0-50 degrees, traverse is 120 degrees in each direction, reload time is 10 minutes, maximum range is over 15 km.
*** The Ural-375S tractor on the Red Square is towing the SA-5 Gammon missile. This SAM is about 16.5 m long, 1.1 m in diameter, wing span is about 3.96 m. Launch mass is 10,000 kg, approximate range is 250 km [155 mi].
