All of these [UAZ-3741, UAZ-2206, UAZ-3962, UAZ-3909] have UMZ-4178.10 engine (see above for details), fully metallic body with 3 side doors and one rear double-door. These vans differ only in the number of seats available and their net and full mass (they are given here with a comma in respective order) [UAZ-3741 see above; UAZ-2206: 11 seats, 1855 kg [4,081 lbs], 2,780 [6,116]; UAZ-3962: 7-9 seats, 1,825 [4,015], 2,500 [5,500]; UAZ-3909: 7 seats + 475 kg [1,045 lbs] or 2 seats + 850 kg [1,870 lbs], 1,820 [4,004], 2,820 [6,204]]

Also available are [UAZ-37419, UAZ-22069, UAZ-39629, UAZ-39099], which have UMZ-4218.10 engine (2.89L, 98 hp [73 kW] @ 4,000 rpm, 20.5 N·m [133 lb·ft] @ 2,200-2,500 rpm, 4I cyl., 4-tact, ohv, carb.) and 117 km/h [73 mph] maximum speed. These vans are also fully metallic body with 3 side doors and one rear double-door. The differences between these models are the same as described in previous paragraph for models with UMZ-4178.10 engine.

These vans (capable of 30 degree climbs and up to 0.7 m deep river fording) replace the previous generation of UAZ-450, UAZ-451, UAZ-452.
