G-50, G-75, Z-90 was intended for ploughing with 6- and 8-corpus plough and work with other agricultural trailer-type machinery of general purpose. This caterpillar tractor was produced by Harkovsky Steamengine-building Plant [HPZ] (currently Machine-building plant of Malisheva). Overall, 3,900 of these 3 different tractors were made. Their only difference was that G-50 had a 50 hp engine and 1.8-7.0 km/h speed range, G-75 had a 75 hp engine and 2.4-9.2 km/h, and Z-90 has a 90 hp engine and 3.9-15.2 km/h. When these tractors were developed on HPZ, a German tractor VD-50 of "Ganomag" company was taken to be the prototype. However, many changes were put into the design. The engine design had to be changed to allow the same power output on kerosene, rather then on gas, as was in the German prototype. G-50 was the main produced tractor, later G-75 and Z-90 modifications with more powerful engines worked on gas.
