MTZ-80 and MTZ-82 are intended for management and harvesting of tilled crops; as well as for transportational tasks. These tractors were made by Minsky Tractor Plant. Overall, 1,496,200 tractors have been manufactured.

Belarus-700 modification is simply an export version (out of Belorussia) of MTZ-80.

MTZ-900 modification has unified cabin and synchronized gearbox (it is 4 X 2)

MTZ-82 modification is of increaded cross-country ability (4 X 4 and mass 3,400 kg [7,480])

Belarus-720 modification is simply an export version (out of Belorussia) of MTZ-82.

MTZ-920 modification has unified cabin and synchronized gearbox (it is 4 X 4 based on MTZ-82)

"I have only have my Belarus for a month and it have gone 2086 hour when I bought it. I bought it from a widow of an old forest-farmer about 100 km north from my place. My Belarus 82S is from year 1979 and whit cabin made in Sweden by a company called Fernmo. Fernmo also built cabin too Massey Ferguson, FORD and other tractors in the sixties and seventies. I have a Swedish frontloader called Alo Quicke Multi on the tractor. In the seventies and early eighties Belarus was imported to Sweden by a company called Matreco, they also imported Vaz/Lada. In the late eighties and nineties Belarus was imported by Philgrens i Arvika and now its Nordisk Lantbruksimport AB NOLI (www.noli.se) that import Belarus to Sweden." [text by Anders]
