This new all terrain vehicle for geologists (hence "Geolog") presented by LuAZ in 1999 at a Kiev autoshow "SIA'99" is capable of negotiating inclines of up to 58 degrees, and holding up sideways on inclines of up to 40 degrees. The engine is made by Kharkov plant in the name of Malyshev (HKBD). It has drum brakes; tire size 6,95-16; and independent torsion suspension on parallel levers.
